TCO Fly Shop – Fall Tying Classes

There are a number of educational opportunities coming up this fall at TCO State College! A full list can be viewed on the website here. Two that I wanted to highlight are some fly tying classes happening on September 15 and October 20.

On September 15 from 11-2pm, there will be a fly tying class that my friend Don Kerber is hosting on the Buford Musky Fly. It will be a great opportunity to get to know how to work with bucktail tying a great musky fly!

Then on October 20, I will be hosting a fly tying class tying two Kelly Galloup patterns: the Dungeon and the Bangtail. That class will also be from 11-2pm. These are two patterns that I really like to fish and can be scaled up or down to best imitate the baitfish that are prevalent in your home waters.

Classes are limited to 8 students to maximize the educational experience. Cost is $35 per class. Each of the links above takes you to those respective class pages to register. It would be great to have you join us!

I will also be hosting some more classes and Brew ‘N’ Bugs in 2025 – more to come!
