“Things Worth Reading” is getting a new name: “Friday Five.” The reason? Each week has a mix of videos, articles, and podcasts – not everything involves “reading” and “Things Worth Reading, Watching, and Listening To” was too cumbersome of a title.
So, enjoy this week’s Friday Five: three videos and two articles for your reading and viewing pleasure!
Over the past two months I’ve had some time here and there to do some experimenting with different fly patterns amidst the normal tying. No originality is claimed on any of these, since they’re all based (to varying degrees) on existing patterns. It’s always good to experiment!
Over the weekend I took some time to reorganize some of my fly boxes (much needed, for sure). The goal was to have a box to use specifically for warmwater and carp flies, on top of my bigger box for articulated streamers (3-5 inches long). It took a bit of time in the morning on Saturday, but I wanted to share the results.
