TCO Fly Tying Class: Peanut Variations

Come join me on October 19 to learn how to tie up some variations on Russ Maddin’s Circus Peanut – one of the OG articulated streamer patterns!

Gotta love the Peanuts!

The class will be held from 11-2pm at TCO State College on Sunday, October 19th. Registration is $35, which includes all materials. If you’re interested, sign up at this link – spots are limited!

We’ll be tying 3 variations of the Peanut: the original version, a more contemporary brush head version, and Kelly Galloup’s Peanut Envy (his take on the Circus Peanut). Along with learning how to tie the patterns, we will also be going over the history and development of the fly and some “best practices” techniques on how to fish them effectively.

These are patterns that work well for both trout and bass – hope you can join us! Keep an eye out for additional class opportunities coming up at TCO State College this fall/winter.
