Things Worth Reading: 9/14/16

Every now and then we’ll be posting some articles that have some content worth checking out. These are going to range from tips and tricks to patterns and tactics, highlighting anywhere between 3-6 articles per post. This post’s theme is “conservation.”

“Like winds and sunsets, wild things were taken for granted until progress began to do away with them. Now we face the question whether a still higher ‘standard of living’ is worth its cost in things natural, wild and free. For us of the minority, the opportunity to see geese is more important than television.”
― Aldo Leopold

These posts are all on the theme of “conservation” and protecting our public lands. That being the case, specific descriptions for each post will not be included. Please take a few minutes to read, perhaps watch the videos (included in This Land is Your Land and Vote Our Planet). As lovers of the outdoors, it’s important that we take these things into consideration for the future of the things that we enjoy and the land that we get to enjoy it on.
