Who would have thought that there would be a fly fishing group dedicated to fighting human trafficking? Enter the Fly Fishing Collaborative.

FFC’s mission statement is “Preventing kids from entering human trafficking through the efforts of the Fly Fishing Community.”

Check out their vision page for more specifics on how that mission is lived out. It’s great seeing an organization get behind such a major issue today and use fly fishing as a means of helping to fight that.

They have some swag as well, and according to the gear page, “every dollar we take in helps fund the construction of new aquaponics farms around the world.” If you have enough gear already but still want to contribute, you can go right to their giving page.
