Hello there, it’s been awhile! Here’s what’s been coming “From the Vice” over the past few months – it’s not been a whole lot because of life happening (and a great new job beginning!).
We’re posting a bit later than usual today – but grab your cup of coffee and enjoy what we have for you this week!
March came in like a lion, and isn’t quite going out like a lamb. Maybe “out like a lion cub” is more appropriate? Anyway, it was a fun month at the vice to be tying up some new and old patterns for the boxes. Read on!
After the long trudge of January, February always seems to move pretty quickly. The deer hair experiments that I had set out to do didn’t quite happen, but I did have some time to sit down at the vice and tie up some experimental patterns as well as necessary ones to fill the box.
It’s hard to believe that we’ve hit the end of 2017! This has probably been my least active month at the vice this fall, but I had some fun doing some experimenting.
Thanksgiving is done, deer season is in full swing, and Christmas is only a few weeks away! Read on to find out what’s been coming from the vice this past month.
This is two days late, but here are some of the flies coming from the vice over the past month. Included are some experiments with new material and some flies that came straight from the need to clean off the desk. If you’re interested in ordering flies, please fill out the Contact Form and we’ll be in touch!
After a warm Indian Summer that proved to be hotter than most (all?) of August, we’re finally getting fall temps the past two days. Here are the flies from the vice this month – some fun experimentation on patterns, nothing earth-shattering.
Where did the past month go? Hard to believe that we’re already on September’s doorstep. The weather has been on the cooler side the past two weeks, giving us a taste of fall.
