It’s January, and that means that for many of us in the north of the Mason-Dixon Line we’re in the midst of winter and the start of fly tying season. (Don’t get me wrong – you can still get out and fish too!)
Snow arrived yesterday and gave us a foretaste of a white Christmas. The temps have been cold, but it’s good to be living in a place where you can fish year-round. This morning is another cold one here in central Pennsylvania, which makes grabbing that hot cup of coffee all the more enjoyable.
We have a video and four articles for you today, ranging from the growing number of women in fly fishing (which is great!) to cleaning your tying desk to treating hypothermia. Enjoy!
It’s hard to believe that we’re on the doorstep to the end of October – and it’s finally starting to consistently feel like fall! Now we just need a few solid days of steady rain to help get some stream levels up. For now though, enjoy this week’s Friday Five.
It’s Friday, so grab your coffee and take a few minutes to look over the latest “Things Worth Reading.” This week we have an article, a magazine, and three videos for you to enjoy.
Can you think of a better way to start your Saint Patrick’s Day than to pair your morning coffee/tea with the latest edition of “Things Worth Reading?” Neither can we. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
